What happens during the design process?

Design Processing – What Happens During This Stage

At Cathryn’s Stationery, we keep you informed every step of the way to ensure your order is exactly how you envision it.

  1. When it’s time for us to begin creating your order, you will receive a message to let you know that you are next in our order queue. From this point, we will stay in touch with you throughout the entire design and production process.
  2. Once your designs have been created, we will send you proofs to review. We will only proceed to print once you are 100% happy with the final draft.

Proofs & Checking Your Design

  1. All artwork is proofed before printing. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully check all spelling, grammar, and design details.
  2. Please ensure you review your proofs thoroughly, as once you have approved them and your order has been printed, we are unable to make any further changes.

Design & Setup Fee

If your order requires a design to be created from scratch, a design fee will apply in addition to the product cost. This typically applies to printed items such as business cards, flyers, and product tags.

Please note:

The design fee covers the time and work involved in creating your design for print

It does not include a digital copy of the artwork

If you would like a digital copy, this may be available for an additional charge—please get in touch to discuss this.

Requesting Changes

If you would like any changes made to your design, that’s absolutely fine. Simply send a message via email or WhatsApp with the amendments you require, and we will update your design and send you revised proofs.

We will never print your order without your approval, so please ensure you respond to your proofs—even if you are happy with them as they are.

After Design Approval

Once you approve your proofs, your order will be added to our print queue.

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days after approval

Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation message

Your order status will be updated to fulfilled on our website

You will also receive an email confirming completion and dispatch details

Your order will then be carefully packaged, and tracking information will be provided.
